An illness is hypothesised for the death of a 10-month-old baby who died in a nursery school in Rome.
As reconstructed, the story tells that the baby started be agitated in his sleep. An educator would approach and seeing the cyanotic lips she called for help. The 118 operators tried to revive him, but for the young boy there was nothing else to do. There were no signs of violence on the body.
The police are investigating and asking questions to the nursery school teachers in Via della Marrana, in the Appio district. The autopsy will clarify the causes of death. The body of the child was transported to the Institute of Forensic Medicine of La Sapienza University.
