The number of active Covid-19 cases has risen to 1,963 after 146 new cases emerged and 15 people recovered.
The new cases emerged after 3,809 ‘swab tests’ were performed bringing the total number of tests to 1,045,227.
The number of those who have contracted the virus since its outbreak in our country in March 2020 has now risen to 32,616 while the number of recoveries has risen to 30,233.
Until yesterday 724,343 doses of the vaccine were administered with 383,867 being the first dose.
The number of people who have received both jabs has risen to 357,558.
Of the 195 cases reported yesterday, 125 cases were aged between 10 and 39 with the average age being 29 years old.
There are currently 18 patients at Mater Dei hospital with one in the ITU.
