After the ceremony which saw him become the 10th President of Malta, it felt like everything mellowed down and the hype was over. If we still had any doubts today of our new President’s good nature and will to be close to the people, today we received proof.
His excellency Dr George Vella gave a surprise visit in hospital. One of the persons that the President met was Eva Louw and her cute daughter, who are currently in hospital as the little girl has a bad chest viral infection – Get well soon sweetie!
Little did they expect to receive such a visit today! President George Vella not only found the time to visit the patients, but also made time for a chat – which we all know people in hospital between the four walls of their cubicle sometimes long for.
“It was a surprise getting a visit and I thought it was nice that he stayed and had a bit of chat. That he made time to speak with us and not rush anything“, Eva Louw stated.
