After the extraordinary success of the new biscuits snapped up everywhere, Ferrero raises the stakes even more by launching Tic Tac Coca-Cola. A combination of two iconic brands, thanks to which the king of Italian chocolate opens the doors of the confectionery market in Coca-Cola.
The legendary refreshing sugared almond comes with a brand new limited version of coke, available in over 70 countries around the world. Coca-Cola-style Tic Tac, with the unmistakable Coca-Cola logo imprinted on each sugared almond, will be available throughout 2020 in three different formats : standard, extra-large and total red.
The production of the Tic Tac Coca-Cola will be in Alba, in the historic factory of the group, where just half a century ago Michele Ferrero gave birth to the brilliant intuition of fresh candy in the mouth.
The Tic Tac were born in the Ferrero house in 1969, in the year of Woodstock and the first man on the Moon, and it was an incredible success immediately. However, not everyone knows that the original name was Refreshing Mint , but soon the aficionados, playing with the case and with the classic flip top opening, began to call them with their distinctive sound: tick at the opening and tac at the closure. Thus was born the original and onomatopoeic brand. Tic Tac in the original mint and orange flavors have literally conquered the world, establishing a presence on the market in five continents.
The company, founded in 1946 in Alba, in the heart of the Langhe area of Cuneo, is today led by his son Giovanni, who took it up to 17th place in the ranking of the best in the world, the first ever Italian . It is also the first Italian in reputation in the world according to the Global RepTrak100 and the most coveted for women managers.
With a growing turnover of 1,475.5 million euros, Ferrero confirms the centrality of Italy in terms of industrial investments, with 213 million euros invested in the 4 production centers of Alba, Pozzuolo Martesana, Sant’Angelo dei Lombardi and Balvano . Regarding productive investments, the company confirmed its commitment in Italy by investing 213 million euros in tangible assets.
Observing the last ten years of activity in the national perimeter alone, the investments made by the Ferrero Group in the area amount to 1.2 billion euros in the beautiful country. In short, Ferrero never ceases to amaze.
