Birkirkara women’s team have completed a transfer coup after announcing the signing of Portuguese forward Flávia Fartaria. Fartaria, 31, will be joining the Stripes for their upcoming high-profile friendly against Juventus Women which is scheduled for Sunday, in Turin. Frosinone director Guido Angelozzi is looking forward to see how Malta international forward Alexander Satariano develops at the Serie B club. Interviewed by Italy’s Sky Sport, director Angelozzi admitted that they scouted Satariano through videos. In addition, Angelozzi revealed that he had spoke with the Malta national team coach – Devis Mangia – to receive more information about the Maltese youngster. Malta international forward Alexander Satariano has opened his account at Frosinone as he scored a hat-trick in his club’s 7-0 win over amateur team, Equipe Lazio in a pre-season warm-up. Led by former 2006 World Cup winner with Italy Fabio Grosso, Frosinone scored a brace in the first half. Birkirkara women’s team are set to face Italian giants Juventus in a high-profile pre-season friendly in Turin on July 25, the Maltese club announced. The Stripes are set to travel to northern Italy for a four-day training camp between July 24 and July 27, as they continue to prepare for their UEFA Women’s Champions League commitments.
