Malta is expected to ease an outright ban on unvaccinated travellers entering the country, instead allowing them the option to undergo mandatory quarantine on arrival, Times of Malta understands.  The compromise comes hours before the new rules are due to come in to force and follows criticism from the European Commission that they were discriminatory.
