The sitcom, which aired in the United States from 1989 to 1993, will in fact be filmed for a sequel from NBC with many of the same protagonists of the time. The title is intended for Peacock, the NBC streaming platform. To anticipate the cast of the sequel of Bayside School  is the American website TvGuide, which confirms the presence of  Mario Lopez and Elizabeth Berkley in the roles of AC Slater and Jessie Spano.

It is not yet clear whether Mark-Paul Gosselaar will be there , protagonist of the sitcom in the role of Zack Morris, who when asked about the matter said that he had not been contacted to work on the series. As told by the American website, Zack Morris has meanwhile become a political figure in the role of governor and is in a difficult situation after closing too many high schools in economic difficulties. For this reason, he decides to send students to some of the best schools in the state.

Like Gosselaar, it is not clear whether the other actors in the original series such as Tiffani Thiessen, Dustin Diamond and Lark Voorhies will take part in the operation. In addition to the names of the protagonists, there is great uncertainty also in relation to the timing of the Bayside School sequel, currently unspecified.

The Bayside School Scandal Book of Secrets

Dustin Diamond’s book (Screech in the series) was released a few years ago in which scandalous details were told from the  Bayside School set ,  described as “more or less a gigantic orgy to which everyone was invited”.In addition to an alleged, constant consumption of marijuana on the set, the 2009 scandal book Diamond clearly alluded to the fact that the rise in the series of the two protagonists had occurred thanks to frequent sexual relations with the Bayside School executive producer, Peter Engel, who would have spent time in his office both with Tiffani-Amber Thiessen and with Mark-Paul Gosselaar. Material, that contained in the book, to which the US television network Lifetime had said he was interested in making a fiction, of which he has never been heard of.
