You cannot go easier than this: the Carnival chiacchiere are also good for the less skilled at the stove. Here we provide you the vegan version, for a Carnival with a new taste that meets the needs of those who do not consume proteins of animal origin in their diet.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 g of flour (you can choose the integral or semi-integral one because they are rich in fiber)
  • 100 g of brown sugar
  • 50 g of maple syrup
  • 4 tablespoons of brandy
  • 4 tablespoons of dry white wine
  • 6 tablespoons of soy yogurt
  • 1 banana and 1/2 squeezed with 2 tablespoons of water
  • the rind of 1 grated lemon
  • fry oil
  • powdered sugar (or cane)
  • 1 pinch of salt

PREPARATION

  • Mix everything together, as for a short pastry: really simple!
  • Then let the dough rest for half an hour in the refrigerator
  • After the necessary time, roll out the dough with a rolling pin, it must be quite thin
  • Cut out the rectangles with the help of the special toothed wheel
  • At the center of each rectangle make a cut
  • Put the oil in a large pan and bring it to a boil
  • Dive the chatter a little at a time until they are golden
  • Take them with a perforated spoon and let them drain on absorbent paper
  • When they are cold, sprinkle them with the sugar you prefer
  • You can also taste them by dipping them in melted chocolate
  • Keep them in an airtight container for up to 4 days (not in the fridge)
