“A doctor told me I am dying'”. Claudio Lippi, guest of Io e Te, tells Pierluigi Diaco about the episode that took place in a particularly intense phase of his career, when he entertained millions of viewers with “La cena è servita”.
“When I was recording episodes of a broadcast, the night before the recording I had been sick. The doctor told me to go for an electrocardiogram. I went for the exam after the recording, the doctor asked for a glass of water. I thought it was for me, but it was for him. You are dying, he told me”, Lippi recalls.
“Our work sometimes manages to be medicine. I don’t always share the slogan ‘The show must go on’, but often that’s what happens,” he adds.
