We have discovered a recipe for making your own laundry detergent at home and lots of useful tips for fresh and naturally perfumed laundry. The preparation is very simple, it does not take a lot of time but above all it involves the presence of not only natural but also low-cost ingredients .
Let’s see the recipe …
- 4 liters of water
- 1 bar of Marseille soap
- First of all, get a big pot and pour 4 liters of water.
- Bring the water to a boil and in the meantime grate a bar of Marseille soap (the choice is yours about the brand).
- As soon as the water starts to boil, turn off and add the slivers of Marseille soap: a few moments and the soap will dissolve completely.
- To finish, add four tablespoons of bicarbonate and your laundry detergent is ready to use. Simple, right?
It is better to prepare the detergent in the evening, so as to leave everything to rest for at least a full night (with the lid on). The next morning you just shake the mixture to get a liquid detergent that has nothing to envy to those on the market.
TWO SPOONS FOR AN OPTIMUM WASHING OF GARMENTS
You do not need to pour a lot of detergent! Two spoons into the dosing pan of the washing machine is more than enough. In case of white garments, let them soak overnight and then continue washing in the morning. You will see what result!
As the detergent tends to be quite thick, when you pour it, make sure it goes down. If instead you want to use the detergent directly in the porthole of the washing machine, before pouring it dilute the two tablespoons in a glass and with hot water.
WHITE VINEGAR INSTEAD OF SOFTENER
Vinegar is perfect both for white and coloured items. Not to mention that white vinegar is also perfect for cleaning floors and kitchen surfaces. For a touch of perfume and freshness add two drops of natural perfume: you can find it in herbal medicine.
