An EasyJet plane bound for London collided with another aircraft on the tarmac at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport earlier today.
The EasyJet Airbus A320 collided with a parked KLM Boeing jet while it was leaving the terminal. Passengers said the Airbus’s wing had become one with the tail of the KLM plane, which was leaving for Madrid.
EasyJet quickly found replacement plane for the London Gatwick bound passengers, who had been delayed by more than four hours.
The KLM flight to Madrid departed nearly three hours after schedule and it is still unclear whether the same plane was used.
