DiscoverEUWHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE EU INITIATIVE:

Presenting a travel program is one of the requisites for participating in this initiative that could leave you perplexed, but in reality it is fundamental. Presenting a travel program is important because the purpose of the initiative is to allow young people to explore many aspects and sides of European culture and maybe get out of the classic itineraries that always see the usual cities like London, Berlin and Paris among the chosen destinations.

You will therefore have to try to be enterprising and put European cities in your travel program less popular than the big capitals. Although the pass is theoretically linked only to travel by train, if your itinerary is chosen, you will also be able to get some transfers to reach the islands or remote areas. The selected candidates will thus become DiscoverEU Ambassadors and will talk about their experience on social media, or they will organise a presentation in the school or community they belong to.
