Pumpkin is very versatile in the kitchen, perfect for the preparation of many different recipes, both sweet and savory, and rich in beneficial properties for health. The pumpkin is a real delicacy to be brought to the table often.

Today we prepare together the fried pumpkin, a crunchy and delicious appetiser… and a tasty way to convince children to eat vegetables.

Let’s see the recipe of fried pumpkin together :


  • 400 gr of pumpkin
  • ½ teaspoon of rosemary
  • ½ teaspoon of oregano
  • A teaspoon of sweet paprika
  • A pinch of pepper
  • 2 teaspoons of salt up
  • Oil for frying 


  1. Cut the pumpkin into thick sticks, put them in a baking tin covered with parchment paper and let them dry in a preheated oven and in a ventilated mode at 100°C for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Pour the oil into the pan, heat it. In the meantime prepare the flavored salt by mixing the two teaspoons of salt together with paprika, rosemary, oregano and pepper. Pour the mixture on the pumpkin sticks and then proceed with frying.
  3. Once ready, taste the pumpkin sticks with sauces of your choice.
