There are about 600 thousand housewives involved in domestic incidents. This is revealed by the study “Dangerous Mistakes” by the Anmil (National Association of Wounded and Invalid Workers).
Housewives are performing for about 49 hours a week, the “most dangerous job in the world”, including on holidays. If paid, the salary would probably be around € 3,045 per month.
Among the rooms, the kitchen is the one that poses most risk (63% of accidents) followed by bedroom (10%), living room (9%), stairs and bathroom (8%). “What many might see to be non-work, is the most difficult and most dangerous job in the world“, says the president of Anmil, Franco Bettoni.
In the light of this, should housewives be insured? Should there be protection for domestic work?
