The image sharing social network has launched a new account called @creators with the aim of spurring aspiring content creators and influencers to use the platform for their content.
The profile will publish tips, tricks, updates, IGTV, in- depth analysis and tutorials dedicated to those who want to make the most of the social network and become an influencer.
The profile will feature testimonials from some famous creators thanks to Instagram who will give their advice to viewers about different themes such as creator collaborations, stories that exploit sounds or the use of IGTV.
The profile will interact with users through the Stories dedicated to FAQs and IGTV videos, to which it seems to pay particular attention.
Although the influencers who already have a career started on Instagram do not need these tips, the younger ones, who are now entering the world of social networks with the intention of creating a career, could draw on the suggestions of the @creator profile for grow professionally. It will be necessary to see if the profile will only explain the tricks of the trade or will also warn budding influencers of the professional risks related to mental health and the risk of burnout that often involve webstars.
For brands that use the Instagram ecommerce feature, the social network has announced that in-app notifications will soon be available that will allow companies to notify the launch of a new product to their followers.

The company has already begun testing functionality in the United States with 20 companies, including Adidas, Highsnobiety, Levi’s, H&M and Michael Kors. The reminder will work similar to the count down sticker available in the Stories. The product launch sticker, included in Instagram Stories, and the product launch tag added to the feed, will allow interested users to set a reminder for the launch date, preview product details and purchase it as soon as it becomes available without ever leaving Instagram.
