In the theatres, spin off for the “Fast & Furious” saga
The American majors keep their promise to drop a potential box office ace every week and independent distributions follow along: the result is that this weekend is reserved only for genre films.
In fact, the “Fast & Furious” saga comes to the theatres and has already hit the box office in the US, collecting 60.8 million dollars.
FAST AND FURIOUS: HOBBS & SHAW – By David Leitch with Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Vanessa Kirby, Idris Elba, Eddie Marsan, Stephanie Vogt, Eiza González, Helen Mirren, Teresa Mahoney, Cliff Curtis, John Tui. By now everyone knows the term “spin off”, or stories that start from the original model but develop in an autonomous form, enhancing secondary characters.
This is what happens at the home of Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) who between one chapter and the other of the saga (he says he is in danger due to disagreements with Vin Diesel) is held in training duelling with the Englishman Shaw, seeking revenge after they killed his sister (British secret agent) and ready to join forces to counter the super-criminal Idris Elba. The recipe is the same as always, but it will still work.
