The Authorities for Health and Tourism have announced that with effect from today, digital certificates issued by Serbia, Gibraltar, Jersey and Guernsey will start being recognised in Malta.
These certificates will be recognised for vaccines approved by the Europen Medicines Authority, being full doses and with a fortnight having elapsed since the first dose.
Malta is presently also recognising vaccination certificates issued by the European Union, Switzerland, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates and the UK, as well as the US record card.
With effect from 1 August, the CDC record card issued by the US has to be verified by a specified app in order to be accepted as a valid vaccination certificate.
