Recently, it was announced that two local bands, Fuzzhoneys and Eyes To Argus, will be teaming up for a short tour of the four of the UK’s biggest cities.
In fact, the two bands will be playing in Manchester, Bristol, London and Sheffield from the 21st until the 24th of June for the Eyes On The Hive UK mini tour…

For those of you who are not familiar with the alternative music scene in Malta, these 2 bands are the crème de la crème. Being honest, we were only familiar with Eyes to Argus up to a few days ago; but now we gladly added another band to our list of Maltese favourites.
Eyes to Argus creates music with “an eclectic mix of dreamy textures, heavy riffs and dynamic grooves”, as they put it in words. “The band’s sound is often described as experimental post-rock.” This band is made up of 4 male members:
  1. Ben Mifsud Joslin: Bass guitar, vocals
  2. Samwel Mallia: Guitar, vocals
  3. Robert Farrugia: Keyboard, guitar
  4. Samuel Attard: Drums, percussion

Fuzzhoneys on the other hand is of the opposite sex. It is a female duo from Malta. One can described their music as “garage rock, spiced up with elements of the Blues, a dash of girly punk and a whole lot of soul”. The two who make up this due are:
  1. Francesca Mercieca (guitar and vocals)
  2. Caroline Spiteri (drumbeats).

Anyhow, should you wish to follow them both on tour, here is the list of their upcoming events…
