Parts of Christchurch, New Zealand, are locked down and police forces and emergency services have been deployed after reports of gunfire at two separate mosques Friday afternoon (New Zealand Time)
New Zealand Police Commissioner said “there are multiple fatalities” at two mosques.
It has been reported that there are “multiple fatalities” after an “active shooter,” started shooting in the direction of the mosque. These shootings are being treated as a serious and grave situation. The Police Commissioner adds that the police are “unsure if other locations outside of that area are under threat.”
