Meghan Markle becomes a designer and launches her line of clothes to help women in the workplace
Activist, magazine editor and also a fashion designer: Meghan Markle has just launched her clothing collection in collaboration with the Smart Works association, which helps women in difficulty enter the world of work. Five essential garments at democratic prices – at least, so they say – that Meghan herself wore for the official debut of the line.
Yesterday the Duchess of Sussex officially returned to work from her maternity period . What better day to present a line for career women. The collection in question was designed together with the designer Misha Nonoo, her personal friend, in collaboration with the British stores that distribute her: Marks & Spencer, John Lewis and Jigsaw. The aim is to raise funds for Smart Works, an organisation that helps women in difficulty enter the world of work: it provides them with clothes to present themselves for interviews, support and assistance in their journey.
