Minecraft confused with “Mein Kampf”: grandchild receives a book on Hitler from his grandfather
“But what is this?” Asks the voice of the author of the funny video that has gone around the web in no time. The unfortunate recipient of a wrong Christmas present is a boy who hoped to discard the copy of Minecraft requested from his grandfather, but that the latter had exchanged, for an unfortunate play on words, with Mein Kampf , the title of a literary essay that describes the creation of the National Socialist Party by Adolf Hitler in an autobiographical key.
When asked by the boy’s dad, author of the video, the grandfather tries in every way to justify himself by saying “Mein Kampf told me”, immediately denied by the voice-over that tries to explain to him that it is instead a video game for children.
The video ends with the expression “I can’t believe it”, the burning disappointment of the boy and the obvious embarrassment of his grandfather.
