As religious tradition goes, tomorrow – Ash Wednesday – is a no meat day. Catholics and other Christians around the world observe Ash Wednesday. We all know that on Ash Wednesday, which marks 40 days before Easter and the beginning of Lent, we do not eat any meat. Catholics should refrain from meat on Fridays altogether during this 40-day period, as well as Ash Wednesday.
Many do not follow this tradition anymore but others do… and for those of you who do, here are some meat free recipes for tomorrow’s lunch or dinner!
