After the warning published to the general public about the ‘H2Only Purified Drinking Water’, the supplier has assured the public that their water is safe to drink.
In a statement, the Environmental Health Directorate said it had carried out the necessary investigations after receiving information from the public. The two-litre bottles in question, has a ‘durability date’ of June 2020, and is from ‘Lot: 4 02, 4 03’.
In a Facebook post, Island Beverages Ltd said the two batches were being collected due to a machine fault. It also explained how the move was only a precautionary one and that suspected bottles had been collected and destroyed. “Laboratory tests have been carried out and water is still of excellent quality.”
