How many times have you visited the restroom at your own house without turning the lights on? Countless times, right? Well, you might have to rethink it! Helen Richards from Brisbane surely did!

When nature called and she so diligently replied, but without the lights on. She found herself suffering puncture wounds after she was bitten by a 1.6m long python as she sat down on the toilet at a house! Luckily for her, the assailant was a non-venomous carpet python.

We leave you to wonder who was frightened the most – Richards or the python?
