Prince William is against prejudice on sexual orientation. After visiting the headquarters of an association that helps young homosexuals driven out of their homes to find a roof, Charles and Diana’s eldest son explained: “If one of my three children publicly declared he was gay, it wouldn’t be a problem for me. I would react absolutely well.”
During the visit to the Albert Kennedy Trust of London, Prince William was responding to the question of an activist of the NGO, but also admitted to fear consequences of a possible coming-out of a member of the royal family.
“The only thing I would be worried about is how this can be seen or interpreted, especially for the role my children play” – explained Prince William – “I know, however, that it is a problem that many parents have, who often are subjected to strong pressure. These problems must be faced above all with communication, for this reason Kate and I have already talked about it a lot, in view of the future”.
