These salmon burgers are a tasty idea. Easy and quick to make, they are prepared in less than half an hour, they are good and tasty and everybody – big and small – like them.

You can serve them as is with a salad or boiled vegetables. You can also serve them in a bun for everyone to enjoy!

  • 400 g of fresh salmon
  • 100 g of breadcrumbs
  • milk
  • 70 g of butter at room temperature
  • breadcrumbs
  • the peel of 1 lemon
  • clarified butter
  • salt
  • white pepper


Preparation of salmon burger - Phase 11. To make the salmon burgers start by soaking the breadcrumbs in a little milk. Carefully peel the salmon and remove any thorns, wash it and dry it with kitchen paper, then chop it finely with a mixer or knife. Put the fish, the squeezed breadcrumbs, the butter, the salt and the freshly ground pepper in a bowl.

Preparation of salmon burger - Phase 22. Mix these three ingredients well kneading them with your hands or with a wooden spoon: you will have to obtain a homogeneous mixture, soft enough but that can be manipulated while remaining very compact. Divide it into four parts and get from each a round and slightly crushed meatball, shaped like a hamburger.

Preparation of salmon burger - Phase 33. Pass them quickly in the milk and then in the breadcrumbs mixed with a little grated lemon peel. Melt the clarified butter in a pan and when it is hot cook the burgers 4 minutes per side or until they are golden brown.

Salmon Burger Preparation - Step 44. Remove them from the pan and place them on absorbent kitchen paper to remove any excess grease. Then arrange the salmon burgers on individual dishes and serve them immediately with a fresh mixed salad.
