John Earnestun, a 19-year-old San Diego resident, was arrested and held responsible for the San Diego California synagogue attack where one person died and three were injured.
The San Diego County sheriff, William Gore, explained that FBI investigators and homicide detectives listened to the boy, who has no criminal record, said Gore at a press conference, adding that investigators are considering the hate crime and civil rights violations.
The police are also checking to see if the young man had any connection with a recent arson that occurred in a mosque in the San Diego area. “At the moment it looks like a hate crime,” said US President Donald Trump. “My heartfelt condolences go to the families affected,” he added.
