A crane collapsed on the Seattle Google Campus killing four people and injuring four others. The incident occurred Saturday afternoon at the intersection of Mercer Street and Fairview Avenue.

The Fire Department reported at a press conference that two of the four people killed were crane operators and that the other two were inside one of the cars on which the crane collapsed.

The crane crushed five cars and damaged a sixth vehicle. Four other people were immediately rescued and three of them – a 27-year-old man, a 25-year-old woman and a 4-month-old girl – were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
