“Silent majority in the country has started to speak up and the country is on its way back to normal” – Bernard Grech
The Leader of the Opposition and the PN, Bernard Grech, said that the silent majority has begun to speak up and the country is on it was way back to normal. While referring to the news that Chris Peregin will start working with the Nationalist Party, Dr Grech said that the party’s doors are open wide to welcome people who wants to change Malta for the better.
During a session of the General Council at the square in Qrendi in the form of questions to the leader from the public, Dr Grech referred to an increase I cases and sad that today everyone has realised that the Government made a mistake the he gave money to students to come study English in Malta. He said the Government should have helped English language students by paying part of the course for them. He insisted that the country should look at quality tourism to reduce the burden on the infrastructure and reduce the risk of spreading the virus.
Speaking about the vaccine, the Nationalist Party said that to date there is confirmation that the vaccine by itself is not the solution because people need to keep observing prevention measures. Dr Grech invited all those who wish to give their contribution to the PN because everyone has value.
