He waited in vain next to the hospital bed. Then they took him away, orphan of his owner.
Moose, this is the dog’s name, has become the protagonist of the Facebook profiles of thousands of Americans who have read his story through the page of the Eleventh Hour Rescue association. And thanks to the volunteers who told the story of Moose on June 17th the long awaited adoption was reached.
Linda Barish, a New Jersey volunteer, told how Moose spent a long time in a state of profound sadness. The death of his owner had significantly changed the character of the animal.
“He was waiting for him near the door, waiting for him to go home. He stayed with a person who took care of him but in the end we decided to take him in our association. The situation has improved and today we are happy that he has found a new family.”
