A small plane, for reasons still unclear, crashed shortly after takeoff and crashed on a house destroying it. Six people died in the accident, all of whom were on board the aircraft. This happened in Puerto Montt, in southern Chile.
The aircraft, on which the pilot and five passenger were travelling, had recently departed from the nearby airport and fell on a two-story building, completely destroying it after an explosion and a large fire following the crash.
It could have been an even worse massacre! In fact, only a randomness allowed that there were no other victims besides those aboard the plane. At that moment, in fact, there was no one in the house destroyed by the crash and the explosion. Firefighters intervened on the spot and the area was secured, with the inhabitants of the adjacent houses being evacuated. Investigations are underway to reconstruct the causes and dynamics of the tragic accident.
