A plane lands without a landing gear. Fear at Yangon airport, in Myanmar. It was the pilot’s incredible maneuver to save the lives of the 89 passengers aboard the Embraer 190, a Myanmar National Airlines flight.

The emergency landing was needed because of a failure of the front landing gear that did not drop despite the commander’s repeated attempts. The pilot asked for help from the emergency tower to see if the track had actually been blocked and, once confirmed, decided to try to bring the plane to the ground.

He did it using only the two rear carts and gently resting his nose on the airport’s runway. None of the people on board were injured. With the support of the airport staff all the passengers got off the plane and, surprised, they took pictures with their smartphones.
